26 Aug 2011

The Women’s Water Fund supports women from developing countries in advancing their career opportunities in the development and management of water resources.

Since its establishment in 2006, twenty women at mid-level managerial positions in the water sector have benefited from the Fund’s water capacity building and mentoring program in Denmark.

This program contributes to Denmark’s strong tradition for linking knowledge generation to practical solutions to water problems.

In 2011, eight women were selected to participate to the Fund’s program. Through short interviews, learn more about their challenges and hopes for the development of water management in their countries; and their expectations regarding the Women’s Water Fund.
