The upcoming DHI Software Release will present major changes compared to the software used today. A Technical Preview (TP) of the software was therefore launched enabling users to explore some of the new features being included in the 2007 release available at the end of 2006.
TP users were encouraged to fill out a questionnaire which formed the basis for subsequent adjustments and improvements to the software for the upcoming release 2007. You can learn more about the feedback and evaluation in the DHI Software News letters. While the official trial period has ended it is still possible to try an online demonstration of this pre-release by logging on to one of our servers.
If you are interested to learn what will be on the release 2007, you may have a look at the 2007 TP flyer or downloading one of the PowerPoint shows with some of the many appetizers of the upcoming release.
One of the new interesting features of the 2007 release is the support for version control systems - a step-by-step guide is available on how to install such a system so that it can be used together with the DHI software. A version control system is also available with the online demonstration if you want to try it out without installing on your own system.
The example uses Microsoft Visual SourceSafe - but any system, which exposes the common interface, can be used.
