Ocean Weather Inc. (OWI) and DHI Water & Environment (DHI) have cooperated to establish a comprehensive met-ocean hindcast database, named PERGOS, for the Gulf. Wind, waves, water levels and currents. This database covers about 20 years (1983-2002) of continuous data and a total of 108 storms from 1960 - 2002. Time series and extreme event estimates are available in a grid of 0.0625 degrees lat/long. Data can be used directly or as boundary data for fine grid modelling by DHI or others.
